With 200 days left until we get on the plane for Florida, I thought I would update you all on what I have planned / ordered so far :).
We booked the hotel through Disney direct (Port Orleans Riverside) & decided to book our flights separately, as this seemed to work out a hell of a lot cheaper. After plenty of research, we decided on and booked with Thomas Cook – Premium Economy. The flight times just suited us better and of course the price, was a lot better. So flights have now been ticked off the list.
The more ‘boring’ things like Travel Insurance, Airport parking and the lounge at Manchester Airport have all been ordered and paid for. I have also started buying new holiday clothes too – any excuse, right?
Universal tickets – with prices going up, I decided to get these sooner rather than later :). After looking around we decided on getting them through Florida Tix. We paid a deposit of £10.00 each and we can pay the rest off any time up to 5 weeks before we go. We brought the 2 Park Explorer ticket. We also decided on getting the express pass, as with only being out there for 8 days, we can probably only squeeze 1 day in at Universal – and hopefully this will help us move around the rides quicker (shame you can’t use it for Harry Potter though 😦 ). We got this through the Universal Studios site direct.
So, with 200 days to go – that’s pretty much where I am at :). The next things are booking my Advance Dining Reservations & ordering Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party tickets!
